Mary Henderson is currently Principal at Mary Garvey Henderson Consulting.

Prior to forming her independent consultancy, Mary served as Managing Director of the Research Program on Genes, Environment, and Health (RPGEH) at Kaiser Permanente. She was a vice president at Kaiser Permanente and managed large-scale projects that included the implementation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Mary is the parent of three sons, two with developmental disabilities. She is dedicated to helping her sons be fully integrated into their communities (e.g., schools, jobs, recreation).
