It is time for MayGives
When you and your family face challenges, it can be stressful, right? It can be hard to stay positive, hard to stay focused on how important being together is. In those moments, it is so important to reach out for help and support. That is what our founders Judy Levin and Lou Fox wanted to do when they opened Family Support Services’ doors 30 years ago. Today we have grown a lot, but we need your help to make sure we can continue to provide the highest quality support possible to the caregivers, youth and children we serve.
Why do families come to Family Support Services?
-They know that they will receive high quality services that target their unique challenges.
-They know that they will be able to work with social workers, therapists, academic coaches and respite care providers who give families culturally sensitive, dedicated, and resourceful support.
-They know that they will be working with people who understand and appreciate the unique needs of their family.
Most importantly, people come to Family Support Services because they are confident that their families will be treated with respect and compassion.
You are helping us to do this work…
With your help, Family Support Services is able to provide mental health counselling, reunification assistance, parenting breaks, and many more essential services to Bay Area caregivers and families. Through your contributions, you give us the opportunity to provide our programs, as well as additional services like Thanksgiving meals, holiday gifts, schools supplies, and emergency support, all of which our families rely on.
Thirty years of service is a long time. In that time Family Support Services has established itself as a place where Bay Area families can go to receive support when they need it most. Caregivers and youth alike depend on us to ensure that they have the resources necessary to remain healthy and intact. Now, as we begin looking towards our next 30 years, we need your help to be sure that we can continue to provide the type of targeted support our families need.
